Pemanggil Island
The
largest of the cluster of islands that appears suspended off the coast
of Mersing due to the glassy clearness of the water, location. Diving to
depths ranging from 20 to 80 feet unveils varied species of fish and
corals.
Diverse ecosystems
The island has secluded lagoons for swimming while the lush
forest is home to birds, monkeys, monitor lizards and a wealth of other interesting
flora and fauna.
Getting there
Accommodation at Pemanggil is either in chalets or in cottages. Camping is also allowed, provided a permit has been issued.
